Local Action in Cornwall

If you need any help to set up your group or project or to fill in the forms please call Clare Leverton LAG Manager.

There are two stages to apply. Firstly, you send an expression of interest form to us so that we can check that the project is eligible.  We can help you with drafting of the form so please do get in touch.  You can download a form here...   expression of interest.

The Clay Country Local Action Group will consider your project and then may invite you to proceed to the second stage of a full application.  The full application forms are then sent out directly to you at this stage.  We can help you with the application and we will give you advice about the forms and also about the timescale. 

When we get your forms and your supporting information we will check through and make sure that we have all we need before we start the appraisal.  Once we have all the information we will appraise your application and send a report to the Clay Country Local Action partnership at their next meeting.  They make a decision about which projects to support or not with support from the South West RDA.  We will usually let you know their decision within days of the meeting.

The usual time taken for an expression of interest to be processed is about 6 weeks.  The second stage (full application) once submitted takes about 4-5 weeks before a decision is made.  You can contact Clare Leverton LAG Manager at any stage in the process.
