Audience at small grant launch

You will need to complete a form so you can tell us about your organisation and the project you want to do.

As we want to prepare you for the application form, we will ask you to give consideration to the following questions:

  • Does the project benefit the community?
  • Is the project new and not for ongoing activities or services?
  • Can you show there is local support for your project and/or will you be working with other groups?
  • Are you able to list the alternatives to the project that you’ve considered?
  • Will there be benefits to the area that will continue after the end of the project?
  • Do you or does some-one in your organisation have relevant experience?
  • Have any necessary planning permission, regulatory compliance or consent been applied for?
  • Are you able to identify the problems that may arise when delivering the project?
  • Have you agreement for the other funding or an idea of how this will be sourced?
  • Are you able to show how your project contributes to a sustainable environment, energy efficiency and developing a low carbon community?
  • Will you be able to start your project within 5 months of a grant offer being made?
  • Does your project end by Sep 2013?

Once you’ve completed the expression of interest form, send it by email to the manager whose contact details are on our contacts page.
